Submitting Your Articles |
Who can submit articles? |
The competition is open to any African journalist writing for a periodical published and distributed in Africa (daily, weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or other period).
Each journalist may submit up to three articles. |

Criteria for an article to compete |
Articles submitted must be written in French, English or Portuguese on subjects relating to education in Africa. Only those articles published in the African press after January 1st, 2010 are eligible. Articles that have already been submitted once may not be re-submitted for future competitions.

How to submit articles |
- The submission package must include:
- A copy of the newspaper in which the article appeared (in the original language).
- The article in electronic format.
- The first names, last names and contact information of the journalist and his/her editor-in-chief.
- The references of the newspaper for which the journalist works (title, address and place of publication).
- The article must be accompanied by the completed application form

Submission deadline:
For the fifth Award competition, articles must be sent no later than December 30, 2011 .
